We operate 15 fully owned power plants across Italy, Turkey, and Moldova, and have successfully developed over 610 MWp of incentivized renewable assets. Operations in Italy began in 2007. Greenfield Development, EPC, Asset Management and O&M. The offering in Italy covers a wide range of competencies in the field of renewable energy: 197 MWp installed; more than 50 MWp managed; 1200 MWp of grid parity development and 950 MWp of storage development. An extensive pipeline of plants completing the authorization process. >100MWp of grid parity authorized, including 7MWp in Piedmont in 2017 one of the first grid parity project.
In 2018, flyRen became one of the leading players in the development of grid-parity renewable assets in Italy by taking advantage of our in-house technical capabilities and our network of experts with whom we have been actively and successfully collaborating for over a decade.
flyRen acts as an independent power producer (IPP), selling renewable energy successfully produced by 8 plants in northern Italy. flyRen began construction in Piedmont of four 800 kWp plants managed under an agreement with the local governments within the scope of the Energie Comuni project. Since 2011, flyRen group of companies delivered green clean energy contributing to a strong reduction in CO2 emission adding ownership of local power plants. Starting in 2020 we have developed 794 MW of new solar projects for partners and clients. Additionally, we took on a new techonology in power storage in 2023 with 950MWp currently in development.
flyRen Moldova was established in 2015 to take on the challenge of the Moldovan government to reduce the country’s dependence on other sources of energy. In 2018, flyRen constructed and now operates the country’s largest solar park. In 2020, the first emergency response center in Europe powered 100% from renewable sources was inaugurated in Chișinău, Moldova. And it was flyRen energy.
flyRen Energy Group SpA is now the leader in Moldova both as developer and independent power producer (IPP), focusing the organization’s efforts on producing solar energy. Based in the Moldovan capital of Chișinău, the top-flight team is working hard towards the country’s renewable future.
flyRen Moldova is also partnering with the government in the nation’s environment policies and has entered into a close alliance with the Science Academy to develop, disseminate and educate on the culture of renewable energy and related skills among young students in the country.
